Young Sikh Professionals Network (YSPN)
Young Sikh Professionals Network (YSPN) was established in 2012 to empower the Australian Sikh community to achieve professional excellence. Today, YSPN engages thousands of Sikh professionals across the world and has five permanent chapters at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Auckland.
YSPN’s aim is to develop ethical Sikh leaders to positively impact the organisations they work in as well as the communities they live in.
Over 11,700 young Sikh professionals (aged 20-40) live and work across Australia according to 2021 census. YSPN directly caters to this audience through:
- Networking and professional development events
- Free digital migrant services - CV checks, LinkedIn reviews and mock interviews
- Online mentoring program
- Ethical leadership program (in-development)
YSPN also originates, produces and distributes inspirational content to our audience base, reaching thousands of people in a year to stimulate national debate and promote the intellectual visibility of Sikhs.
YSPN is a not-for-profit organisation run by a team of 50+ volunteers, all young professionals themselves.
